Patrik Syversen is a Norwegian director and screenwriter, whose previous works have played international film festivals such as Fantastic Fest, Sitges, Tallinn Black Nights, San Sebastian, Fantasia, Neuchatel and Strasbourg. His most recent film DAWNING produced by SpectreVision premiered in competition at Fantastic Fest 2025 where he and the film were nominated for both Best Director and Best Film. Additional nominations for Syversen include the Nordic Film and TV-fund’s prize for outstanding writing at the Göteborg Film Festival 2019, the Noves Visions award at Sitges 2025, as well as several Golden Screen Awards in Norway. In addition, he's been nominated for four Norwegian Critic’s awards for his work in film and television.
